Pedersen Ryberg On Line Obituaries

9/26/1925-12/3/2014 Gertrude Leveille joined her loving husband Edward A Leveille II, in a celestial dance on December 3, 2014. She led a courageous, productive, creative, energetic and giving life always devoted to family and friends. She was last employed well into her 70s at Bank One and Jewel in Elgin, IL. Her favorite pass time was playing Canasta, but don't even think about trying to beat her. She was the party planner for all including many of her nieces' showers. She was an exceptional cook that didn't follow a recipe, but she was happy to share her secrets with you. She made each and every holiday even more special than the one before. She volunteered for so many things including the school band, cub scouts, girl scouts and helped as an art teacher. She was a lifetime artist of many talents and an expert ceramicist. She owned a ceramic business teaching the techniques and sharing the joy of the craft. She is survived by 7 children, Bert Leveille (Roger Dahlstrom), Patricia Leveille Anderson, Edward A Leveille III (Linda), Lucy Galpin, Joseph Leveille, Patrick Leveille, Ellen Clifford (Guy), 19 grandchildren, many honorary grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and counting, one godson, one brother, two sisters, and many nieces, nephews and friends all of whom she loved very much with her enormous heart.
