IHMS

Robert Edward Ihms, age 87, Veteran World War II,  Army Air Corps. and long time resident of Elmhurst passed away Feb. 9, 2010. Robert was the  loving husband of Mary; loving father of Robert (Georgia) Ihms, Ralph (Deirdre) Ihms and Leslee (Jim) Glassman; proud grandfather of Meredith Ihms, Emily Johnson, Matthew (Wendy) Ihms, Melissa (Peter) Pinion, Celeste and Frank Glassman; dear brother of Carol (the late Hugh) Reimers; uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation was held at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 3 to 9 p.m.  with services held at the mortuary on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10 a.m.  Fr. Anthony Taschetta officiating.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
