Charles J. “Chuck” Allen, age 89, of Woodridge, at rest April 9, 2007; beloved husband of 65 years to Eleanor “Bill” , nee Manne; loving father of Linda Constant and June Traviolia; cherished grandfather of Michelle (Don), Randy ( Melissa), Bridget (Jim) and Wendy (Brent); loving great-grandfather of Max, Libby, Lucas and Jillian; dear brother of the late Jack (the late Jane); devoted son of the late John and Emily. Chuck held many positions in life including CEO at Allen, Anderson, Niefeld & Paley Advertising Agency in Chicago; founder and president of Charles J. Allen & Assoc in Elmhurst. Mr. Allen was a former president of Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce, former President of Village IV Organization and Patio Home Assoc in Woodridge as well as a former commissioner of the Village of Woodridge and member of Village Planning Committee.
